Shipping Policy

We strive to ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible. While we aim to meet the following delivery timeframes, please note these are estimates and not guarantees:

  • Same or next day for local deliveries
  • 1-2 days for rural areas and the rest of the North Island
  • 2-3 days for the South Island

Seasonal peaks and unforeseen events may impact delivery times. If you need a specific delivery window, please contact one of our team members.

Shipping Costs: For packages up to 7kg

  • Local - $7 + additional fee for rural deliveries
  • North Island - $11.50 + additional fee for rural deliveries
  • South Island - $15.50 + additional fee for rural deliveries

Please note: Parcels exceeding 7kg may incur an extra charge. In such cases, we will contact you prior to shipping to confirm the revised cost. If you select standard shipping but your address is classified as rural, we will be in touch to confirm the additional rural delivery fee before your order is dispatched.We are unable to ship to PO Box addresses. We do not currently offer international shipping.

Please allow up to 2 working days for order processing. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.

Click and Collect: Select "Pick Up" at checkout to collect your order in-store. Orders received before noon are processed for collection that same afternoon. Afternoon orders are ready for pick-up the following afternoon.

Returns Policy

Customer satisfaction is one of our absolute priorities. In the rare event something goes wrong, we will work with you to reach an amicable resolution. We always meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please email us at online@downtoearthorganics.co.nz within 24 hours with your proof of purchase and photos of the damaged goods.

Perishable Items: Due to the nature of fresh produce and food, we do not offer refunds on perishable items if you change your mind.

Non-Perishable Items: If you wish to return a non-perishable item, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Products must be unused and in their original, undamaged, and unopened packaging.
