Nuts contain compounds that make them hard to digest. These compounds can also stop some nuts from releasing nutrients until they sprout.
Luckily we can trick nuts into thinking they’re about to sprout, releasing more nutrients and making them taste fresh and sweet. Oh, and extra crunchy!
This process is called ACTIVATING! ROAR activated nuts have been soaked, washed and dehydrated – below 47°C – making them extra digestible, delectable and oh so moreish. We hope you enjoy nature’s perfect little snack!
Eat as a snack or in salads and desserts – including raw desserts. Make your own scroggin or eat with fresh fruit, muesli or porridge for breakfast. An ideal way to start your day. -

Extra information: The organic nuts are soaked in purified water until they begin to sprout and/or to wash away phytic acid. They are then dehydrated at low temperatures (below 47°C) until they are really crunchy.
Nuts are an ideal snack, high in dietary fibre, which will leave you feeling satiated. High in unsaturated fats which are good for your skin, brain and heart. They are packed full of high quality protein and are many vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Delivery and Shipping
We strive to ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible. While we aim to meet the following delivery timeframes, please note these are estimates and not guarantees:
- Same or next day for local deliveries
- 1-2 days for rural areas and the rest of the North Island
- 2-3 days for the South Island
Seasonal peaks and unforeseen events may impact delivery times. If you need a specific delivery window, please contact one of our team members.
Shipping Costs: For packages up to 7kg
- Local - $7 + additional fee for rural deliveries
- North Island - $11.50 + additional fee for rural deliveries
- South Island - $15.50 + additional fee for rural deliveries
Please note: Parcels exceeding 7kg may incur an extra charge. In such cases, we will contact you prior to shipping to confirm the revised cost. If you select standard shipping but your address is classified as rural, we will be in touch to confirm the additional rural delivery fee before your order is dispatched.We are unable to ship to PO Box addresses. We do not currently offer international shipping.
Please allow up to 2 working days for order processing. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.
Click and Collect: Select "Pick Up" at checkout to collect your order in-store. Orders received before noon are processed for collection that same afternoon. Afternoon orders are ready for pick-up the following afternoon.
